Committee goals:

  • Develop recommendations for consistent expectations for coaching qualifications and best pracitice across systems and initiatives
  • Broaden the focus & membership of the Consortium to include health, mental health, and family support
  • Identify the intersections among initiatives and best practices for coordinating different initiatives inprograms at the local level

  • Determine effective skill sets
  • To ensure best practices, identify ongoing support strategies for individuals providing coaching, for programs providing coaching, and to support the professional development of coaches
  • Support establishment of a Coaching Certificate/Credential

Evidence Based Practice Committee

  • Review the evidence base for effective coaching
  • Review the Colorado landscape of coaching projects in regard to the evidence available
  • Create an evaluation plan for Colorado Coaching
